This year we are using Ride with GPS for all routes, QOM/KOM’s, etc. Click here for the Ride With GPS route map link and download the Ride with GPS in your app store. Get turn-by-turn voice navigation, Live Logging, offline maps, and more. Ride with GPS is compatible with Apple, Android, Garmin and Wahoo Fitness.
Should you feel the need to discard extra clothing, you can place your items in a drop bag at any aid station. We will provide bags, tape and marker. Riders are responsible for placing items in the bag, taping the bag shut and writing their event number on the outside of the bag. Bags will be returned to the start/finish. Please note this may take several hours.
All Rest Stop Locations throughout the course will have water, drink mix, fruit and various snacks. Lunch will be provided on the course for the 50, 80 and 100-mile routes. A light breakfast will be provided for riders in the event village beginning at 6:00 am.
Summer road construction season is in full force, and there may be projects affecting sections of the Summit Challenge. Road construction happens, and we will monitor and adjust as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable route. Please check back for construction updates.
All rides begin and end at the National Ability Center. The National Ability Center is located at 1000 Ability Way, Park City, UT 84060.
Discover your possibilities on this one-mile route. Leave from the National Ability Center and pedal around the beautiful Round Valley. This route is free for all participants, but you must sign up in advance.

16 MILE ROUTE
Explore the designated bike lanes and non-motorized bike path of Park City, including the Union Pacific trail, the McLeod Creek trail, and the Silver Quinn trail. You will travel through Park City and the Trailside area of the Snyderville Basin before returning to the National Ability Center Ranch.
16 Mile Unpaved Option: New this year we are offering a mid-route option to pedal 2 miles of flat, firm, relatively smooth unpaved pathway. This option, coming just after the McPolin Barn rest stop at about mile 5, takes riders through a tree-lined wonderland next to beaver ponds and funky community artwork. It avoids much of the narrowest sections of Old Ranch Road. A worthy option.

25 MILE ROUTE
New this year! The 25-mile route will start at the same time and on the same roads and paths as the 16 mile before taking a longer, steeper loop that climbs toward the Utah Olympic Park and out towards Jeremy Ranch. It rejoins the 16 mile route on Trailside and finishes on the hilly Silver Quinn path. This ride has about 400 feet (or about 50 percent) more of vertical than the 16 mile route and is the perfect way to get some extra miles.

50 MILE ROUTE
Travel through Park City and Trailside before heading out to Kamas and the quiet roads near Peoa, which are the highlight of the route. Finish with a sustained climb through Browns Canyon before returning to the National Ability Center Ranch
This route DOES NOT include Wolf Creek Ranch.

80 MILE ROUTE
Travel through Park City and Trailside before heading out to Kamas and the quiet roads near Peoa, which are the highlight of the route. Challenge By Choice! Turn around any time in Weber Canyon to make this into a 50, 60 or 70-mile route! Have an extra long lunch at Camp Oakley while your hardcore riding buddies ride the full 80. In Oakley, you’ll ride out-and-back 10.5 miles on the scenic Weber Canyon Road. Finish with a sustained climb through Browns Canyon before returning to the National Ability Center Ranch. This route DOES NOT include Wolf Creek Ranch.

100 MILE ROUTE
The 100-mile route is the ONLY route that includes Wolf Creek Ranch. Challenge yourself with several climbs, including a short, very steep hill into the private roads of Wolf Creek Ranch. This very hard climb is featured in the Tour of Utah, allowing riders to compare their times to those of professional cyclists on the Tour. A strenuous choice for experienced cyclists, as cut-off times will be enforced on this route.
